As a Japanese photographer who has spent much of my life abroad, I see Tokyo with both intimacy and fresh eyes — a perspective I bring to every wedding.
As a former architect, I am naturally drawn to the interplay of light, space and form, from the quiet beauty of a temple to the elegance of Japan’s architecture. My years abroad have given me an appreciation for these details with a sense of wonder.
My photography is authentic to who you are, refined and quietly emotive, blending candid moments, beautiful light and thoughtful composition to create imagery that feels elegant, enduring and true to your story.

FAQ
How do we book you and what's the process?
Once you get in touch through my contact form, I will be in touch within 24 hours on weekdays. We will arrange a personal consultation to talk through your plans, what matters most to you and how you’d like your photographs to feel. From there, I will recommend the collection and coverage that best suits your plans.
After you have chosen your collection and we have confirmed this together, I request a 50,000 yen non-refundable retainer fee to secure your date, as well as a signed contract.
We will be organising an online consultation meeting to make sure we are well prepared for your intimate celebration.
How many photos will I receive?
Every gallery is thoughtfully curated rather than limited to a set number of images. The final collection will include a generous selection of fully edited photographs, capturing the atmosphere, connections and moments that tell the story of your celebration.
My motto is always to give you quality over quantity. From experience, I can confidently say people appreciate a print-worthy set of 200 photos over a mediocre set of 400 images.
Every single image you receive will be carefully edited and enhanced to my photography style as seen on this website.
DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH SMALL WEDDINGS?
I specialise in intimate weddings, elopements and celebrations where the focus is on the people and atmosphere of the day. I generally work with celebrations of up to around 30 guests, allowing me to offer a more personal and unobtrusive experience.
Do we need a second photographer?
For the intimate weddings and elopements I typically photograph, a second photographer is usually not necessary. I work quietly and unobtrusively, allowing me to focus on the moments and connections that matter most.
For larger or more complex celebrations, I am happy to discuss whether a second photographer would be beneficial.
When will we receive our photographs?
Your photographs will be carefully edited and presented in a private online gallery. I will let you know the expected delivery timeframe when we discuss your booking, as this can vary depending on the season and the coverage.
Do you photograph engagement and pre-wedding sessions too?
Yes. Alongside intimate weddings and elopements, I also offer engagement and pre-wedding photography in Tokyo. Whether you’re celebrating your engagement, planning photographs before your wedding day or simply want beautiful photographs together in Japan, the experience is relaxed, personal and thoughtfully tailored to you.
