I understand this as I feel more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it myself! My pre-session consultation meeting gives us an opportunity to connect face-to-face so that I am not a stranger to you on your session day and I will provide you with plenty of guidance during the session as well. At the session we will be chatting and having some laughs and I promise you we won't be shooting in awkward silence! After all I want to connect with you to get the real you and authentic candid shots of you.

I will go through all the details, wardrobe suggestions, location, the theme and concept of the session during our pre-session consultation meeting so you feel fully prepared and confident for your session!

Ideally please get in touch 1 - 2 months in advance if possible to avoid disappointment. Most of my family sessions take place during week days (especially during the summer we can make the most out of the longer evenings). For outdoor sessions, taking it during golden hour (two hours after sunrise or two hours before sunset) is the best! There is a 20% surcharge for weekend bookings.

I have done many sessions with babies and children so I know the drill! During the session I get the kids to play with you so usually we don't have a big problem with them getting bored. However, we also can't force things - we just have to wait patiently for your children to calm down or wait for the baby to settle. After all they are the stars of the shoot! So just relax - let's sit down, grab a coffee, have a break, feed the kids/baby, and start rolling again.

Absolutely! The basic package is suitable for immediate family members only but of course we can add more extended family members by customising the package to include more coverage time. The more the merrier!

The editing process is an essential part of my style and art. A RAW (unprocessed) photo is flatter, less saturated, and duller than edited images (not to mention they are enormously large files and need a special photography software to just open the file). The RAW file contains all the raw data so that I can make edits to them to create the look you see on my website and in the photos you receive. RAW files are essentially an incomplete piece of work, which is why I cannot send them to you.

All the edited images will become available for download via your personal online gallery approximately 3 - 4 weeks after your session date. The albums and products will be delivered to you a few weeks after you receive your personal online gallery.
